Doctor Line is ideally suited to any Practice Organisation that experiences high volumes or variations in Inbound Call levels. High volumes can be defined as periods where inbound calls exceed agents available. Typically - Monday Morning at 8.30am !
Doctor Line answers all callers to the Surgery. It asks what they need to do via an Auto-attendant before forwarding the call to the relevant persons Practice.
If there is no one to answer the call, because of an engaged tone, Doctor Line puts the call into a queue!
Once in the queue the caller will hear a variety of comfort messages whilst on hold. The service can also inform the caller of their current position within the queue, and also play a variety of hold music whilst they wait for their call to be answered.
Patients love the system as they don't get an engaged tone or have to try and try again to get through.
A queue can vastly improve customer perception and satisfaction as none of us enjoy continuous repeat dialling or connecting to the engaged tone.
All of this can be done without changing your phone number!
